I give up Lindy. Its an elegant design, but IMO that 'mathematics' is just a bunch of gobbledy gook designed to impress people who are easily impressed.
I'm actually not great at math, but I do know the drafting trade very well, and could replicate any of the patterns found in crop circles fairly effortlessly. Any elegant pattern can be analysed mathematically, but I think its silly to try and extract meaning out of it. The pi one actually was more useful, but in the opposite way than you thought, because it's simplest explanation has to be human origin for the 3 reasons I wrote earlier.
I don't want to flame you, but if you couldn't follow the explanations provided by ER and I, than how are you going to be able to tell if somebody is just spouting BS or not. Its something you should at least give a little thought to. There is enough collective knowledge on this board to act as your own personal bs filter, however you almost always dismiss the skeptical explanation outright.
