A more useful poll...
Would poll only those living in coastal states that would actually be affected. I know that here in California coastal drilling seems to be dead on arrival even now, but who knows?
This stopped being about the environment a long time ago. This is politics, and not wanting to lose on a cherished issue. Liberals fear nothing more than a conservative solution for an issue that the liberals know just might work. Kind of like school vouchers and border fences.
