Face it.
Governments have long kept ufo studies and reports secret (and classified over and above the H-Bomb) because they didn't have a name for it, nor did they have control of it, like when it shut down our nuclear missile program (a little more important than nail polish).
It represented a problem for "national security" and it represented a problem for the religious structures in place that had control of the masses and they didn't want to have to answer why they couldn't protect us from "it" or "them"........therefore, they DENIED it, they LIED about it and they had actual counter-intelligence and SMEAR campaigns against those who made it an issue. They harrased the witnesses and threatened the scientists.
Some were even murdered...

Reminds me of the secrecy and hypocrisy surrounding the "war on drugs" or the false flag operations under the name of "freedom". It's ALL manipulation. What the release of the Canadian UFO archives will eventually do; ....is open up the truth and an awareness that each individual will have to face. Whether we will actually be able to PROVE their existence, ACCEPTANCE of it in each individuals' consciousness is a HUGE leap forward in awareness and individual responsibility.

Your "so what?" isn't relevant here, at ALL.
