I'm probably the only one here who actually wants to do that.
I want the Federal government to become less important. To have local and state control of more things, and individual control of most things. I want the 17th Amendment scrapped.
I want choices, competition, and freedom. I want the states to be fifty flowers blooming in the sun, not shriveled seedlings under the shadow of Washington DC. I want to wake up in the morning without worrying about idiots with limitless power on the far side of the country doing something stupid with my life and property. I want to vote for a President without having to feel like I'm voting for a goddam emperor.
You see, for most people, it's not about actually taking the country back. After all, limited power would mean limits on their ability to reconstruct American into their own idealized image. "Taking the country back" just means putting their gang in charge of the Leviathan.
Frankly, nowadays that goes for both sides.

- But he's the GOP's non-white guy of the future...
- As for what he read....
- Volcano monitoring of Mt. Pinatubo in the Philippines saved 5000-20000 lives
- Wondered how long that would take. (n/t)
- Oh, God! (n/t)
- Prediction: He won't be reelected.
