As for the book, no. I finally have the inspiration I need, that's what I've been doing the last few months, but I dare not put it all down until I've been able to transport it to an anonymous and untraceable scenario, like some innocuous science fiction universe.

I'm seriously considering retirement, I can afford it, and maybe then I'll get around to writing it. But I thought it wise to see where this economy is going first... Nothing personal, TB, but you guys have really made a mess of things, although I must concede you got plenty of help from the other side, too.

I'm glad I followed my own instincts about the future way back in the eighties. Working class roots, y'know?
