When you know the source of a person's scepticism, and that it has little to do with actual science,. then it's the smart bet to..uh...give it less credible weight than actual measurement, calculation, and computation.
This subject has almost become a litmus for actual neurophysical-crystalization. If you're not even curious given the already substantial volume of evidence for the beginnings of global climate change, then you have my sincere sympathy.
