So now it's the UN?

Whenever there's money spilled, guys in suits materialize for a piece of the action like sharks showing up when there's blood in the water. You're familiar with that model because you're familiar with the business world.

But that insight does not automatically negate the very likely possibility that the release of millions of tons of pollutants into the earth's atmosphere, not to mention the systematic destruction of vast natural vegetation communities, just might have an effect on the planet's climate system.

And that same insight should make it perfectly obvious that those who will prosper by this continuous disregard for the global welfare will stop at nothing to deny any action that will threaten their interests, or that they have the will and the resources to do so, and a history of having done so in the past.

You complain that no one listens to your facts and research, but you cavalierly dismiss all the facts and research that counters it as tainted and automatically suspect. If you are really interested in determining if this threat is genuine, or conceding that, that perhaps our response to it is exaggerated or inappropriate, then you would be more likely to gather allies in that quest by not dismissing their concerns as panic, hysteria, or the result of their being duped and manipulated by some sinister conspiracy that you can easily see but we can't.
