He was persecuted, fined and jailed.
The farmers don't particularly like anyone trespassing on their crops, and therefore a lot of hoaxing HAS stopped. And all the "croppies" are out in the fields doing night watches with infrared cameras and they are looking for the hoaxers.

Yes, and the one with over 400 circles, the large Julia Set Spiral below, was found at the highest point of a hill, where you have to walk 15 minutes JUST TO GET TO IT, and we already went through how long it would take to map it out, drive in the stakes and get an army of men up there to complete it in complete darkness without leaving a trace.
Repeat: WITHOUT LEAVING A TRACE.

If you can't even begin to believe that something unusual is going on; then I would say your mind and the mind of most of the others here can't even GRASP the enormity of the phenomena......or EXPLAIN how over 4,000 circles are found in over 30 countries worldwide with absolute feats of geometry and execution; leaving plants undamaged and the ground beneath them, all untouched and somehow relegate this unusual phenomena to a rogue bunch of hoaxers who travel the world and the fields UNTOUCHED and UNSEEN? They've never come forward, and they must have millions of dollars at their disposal to pull it off.
So where are they? Where's National Geographic?

Artists like this, would be found by now, and they'd be stopped. And who could afford the length and breadth of this scope? The fact you ALL think this is somehow done by man is beyond me. I agree with Jody, for the type of engineers, astronomers and mathemeticians you all are; you show an extreme lack of curiousity and investigation. You all need to open your minds a bit to the fact that we "could" be dealing with an extra-dimensional/terrestial phenomena that is INTELLIGENT.
