We know why they were built

The Great Pyramids of Egypt were the tombs of the Pharoahs who did
their best to Take it With Them when they went to the next life.

The structures are impressive but they did not need magic or aliens to
be built.

I highly recommend the book The Ancient Engineers by L. Sprague de
Camp. The author goes into detail about all the amazing things our
ancestors could do on their own in terms of buildings and inventions
that even today people do not give them proper credit for.

A recent example of this the Antikythera Mechanism found in a sunken
ancient boat wreck off the coast of Greece in 1901. The device turned
out to be a fairly sophisticated "computer" that could calculate the
positions of astronomical objects. It survived only because it was
aboard a boat that later sunk and remained at the bottom of the sea
for over 2,000 years.

There were probably many other such devices that have not survived
the ravages of time and people who did not understand or care about
their original purposes.

Details are here:

As for Stonehenge, recent archaeological studies indicate it was the
burial markers for royalty. That they were able to move and position
such big rocks so long ago is impressive, but hardly impossible. They
didn't get distracted by television or the Internet, so they had lots of
time on their hands to actually get things done.
