Conservative freedom rhetoric doesn't fool anyone. Every single policy consideration they propose is one that will benefit them immediately, and the rest of us are simply dismissed and told to like it or lump it. Their motives are perfectly transparent, and they all involve screwing everyone that isn't one of them.

The only freedoms these thugs are interested in is freedom from taxes, and freedom from paying decent salaries, from unions, from empowered workers who won't slavishly accept their abuse, and freedom from safety, health and environmental, regulations. They want freedom from anything that might even slightly inconvenience them and impede their mad rush to acquire and accumulate and despoil without having to consider or respect anyone else. They want a world where everyone is so dependent on them for everything that they will have no choice but to desperately compete with each other for who will work for less--or for who will work at all.

The entire history of man on earth has been the slow and painful struggle of human beings to put aristocrats, oligarchs and plutocrats in their place. They are bullies and gangsters, pure and simple. They produce nothing, they are simply parasites on those who do. And they have total contempt for anyone who isn't one of them.

They don't need to be brought to heel and taught a lesson, they need to be leashed and penned, domesticated, like any potentially useful but highly dangerous wild beast--because that is exactly what they plan to do to the rest of us. It is what they have always done to the rest of us.

See, I can do self-righteous outrage too. 8)
