I'll take the CBO's analysis over the HHSD. It's the CBO's JOB to analyze costs and they say the Senate plan will be solvent for 75 years.
Of course there will be financing issues, but we are financing a lot of other bullshit that is far less important and popular than medicare. Also, it is anti-intuitive to think that a system with far less overhead and that eliminates 30% of costs paid to middle man insurance companies will cost more in the long run.
