"So you expect people to work for free?"

that would be the capitalist paradise, wouldn't it? infinite "productivity". well, what with importing foreign labor, and exporting domestic jobs, not to mention automation and the substitution of services for manufacturing, you've pretty much achieved that, haven't you? productivity goes up, up, up, wages after correction for inflation go down, down, down. sure, we live better today, but it takes two wage earners per family and lots of access to credit.

first to go was unskilled labor, then skilled, now you're working on retail, clerical and administrative positions. you're even having to import scientists and engineers now because all your kids are getting bullshit business degrees, instead. i suppose the last jobs to disappear will be the management positions. after all, those are the only ones that really matter.

the only problem is, who is going to be able to buy all the crap you sell when nobody has a real job any more? you can't all be ceo's and investment analysts, can you? somebody has to pump the nitrogen into your tires.

think about it, you can't blame the liberals for this brave new world you've been feverishly working on for the last few decades. it's all on you.
