Showing me a military program that has grossly exceeded original cost estimates simply proves that point. The government does this to everything. It's not my fault that liberals have special glasses that only see military spending.
Anyway, a trillion dollars over a thirty-year life cycle is lost in the noise of the Federal Budget. Just as a comparison, the Federal government will spend over $50 trillion on health care alone over that same time period. That's assuming only CURRENT programs - Medicare and Medicaid, no new health care spending - and that the annual costs for those programs will not increase at all past 2019.
