Being an old fart assures that you are monitored pretty close when you are on statins, diabetic medicine, and pain medicine. They could be missing something but I doubt it.
The loss of appetite is curious in that it involves changes in my taste buds since I quit smoking, (never happened in my previous attempts to quit).
For Jody on the smoking...I am pretty sure I have it licked but not certain. I still want to smoke every day and it seems I always will. It is bearable but just barely.
I had started having problems with chronic bronchitis. Quitting has cured that and makes it worthwhile. If it were nothing but the non-symptomatic health issues associated with smoking, I would start back today. I dream about smoking nearly every night. 😳
