When was the last anti-war protest I heard about?
Today. There was a group at the One Nation Rally in DC today protesting the wars and Obama's failure to end them quickly. (Yeah this was not just a pro-Obama rally. There was also a group of doctors protesting Obamacare here. They wanted a single payer system.)
There was a large anti-war rally back in March of this year.
What I would say to these folks is, clearly the Iraq war is winding down and will be over by 2012. The Afghan war is finally being fought with the intention of winning. We are going after the enemy strongholds, and there have been 20 drone strikes just last month in Pakistan.
