That is not what she said. She said, "We are no greater than the ants....that is what I meant." She wasn't using an analogy to say, that in nature, it was like sweeping away a bunch of ants. She said we were no greater than ants. If you can't see the difference, you'd better get out of writing because it's obvious you don't understand the written word.
Yes, I'm grumpy, damned grumpy. I've been sick for over two months, my cat won't let me sleep and I'm running on empty. I have no patience for your anti-liberal shit and I have no patience for anyone who belittles humanity and the value of human life. I HURT for those people. If I had the physical capability and the money, I'd be over there right now doing whatever I could to help. There are more than 10,000 people who were lost and their families are grieving for people they'll never see again and can't even bury or cremate for a sense of closure.
Jody's been navel gazing and has withdrawn from the real world because it sucks. It does suck and I'm beginning to think a lot of the people in it do, too.
And that is my last word on the subject. I won't be back to this thread so save your breath. I've got other things more important than arguing with a bunch of whiny conservatives who take umbrage if anyone has an opinion that doesn't align with theirs.
