I should have directed my criticism toward the joke and not you.
For that I apologize.
I may be somewhat of a prude but I’m no angel.
We had drinking songs in my Fraternity that would make your joke sound like a lullaby. I laughed and cheered with my brothers finding the songs nothing more than good-hearted camaraderie builders.
There was a time (long ago) I found it hard to understand how a husband could rape his wife.
Time, experience and reality have changed my views about women.
You seem to have a problem with the notion of a “lady”. That’s understandable considering that requires knowledge of what it means to be a gentleman. Maybe it no longer matters.
Maybe your right. Maybe I do ride a Moral High horse, but what is it that you champion?
