Hey Todd...

As far as I’m concerned, I have no hard feelings.

I’m 38 and my Dad was 45 when I was born. My Mom just had her 81st birthday. They instilled in me a value system that you would probably consider “old fashioned.” Adhering to my beliefs is something that makes me genuinely feel good.

Most people have probably heard this but I’ll restate it anyway. A man opened a door for a woman and she scorned him saying, “You don’t need to open “that” just because I’m a woman!” He replied, “I didn’t. I opened it for you because I am a gentleman.”

I don’t know where you come from but in Seattle men occasionally hold (not open, that would be weird) the door for men as a gesture of good will and kindness. (Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of rude people here…no one should consider a move.)

19 years ago, a wise man told me, “Everyone’s shit stinks.”

Now the usual interpretation might be that we all have something in common. What my friend was telling me was that everyone has something about him or her that’s not good and other people are not going to like it. Problems arise because many people think their “stuff” smells like roses.

I’m grateful to Fox for backing me up on this issue.

Todd your response caused me to reflect on my own beliefs. I thought maybe Fox’s would cause you to look at your own. If I were any good at Flaming you would be a smoldering pile of ashes about now.

Take a big whiff “Bud.”

Rob
