That problem was for a different computer, and the issue really wasn't so much MSIE, which I used, but that version. It seemed to try to take over the damned computer.

And Robert and Delbert are saying the program may have needed MSIE for an "interface", but I don't know for what.

I suppose I do need a new computer, and cable modem, and need to connect through a cable TV connection. I suppose.

I just don't want to spend the money until I need to for some reason other than the speed of an internet connection.

What's driven my upgrades in the past was the need to run Office suite, etc. I really can't rationalize an upgrade now, when I wouldn't get anything.

I will just get away from MS someday, I suppose. The truth is that I just don't have the energy for fiddling with computers any more. I used to be really into it.

And, MS avoided the lawsuit. So did I. That was one of those things that seems like great idea until you have to show up someplace and explain it to someone.
