That's all I was trying to say.
People's mindsets are largely determined by their culture. Europe has a very long culture of authoritarianism. We "colonialists" have a long history of bucking such trends. I may have gone over board on that post, but I get so damned tired of hearing European leaders telling us how to live. As far as I'm concerned Tony Blair and his ilk can shove their security cameras sideways up their you know what.
I am a law abiding gun owner who has never gotten so much as one speeding ticket, and I will never surrender my right to bear arms.....even in the winter time. ;)
