My short definition of fascism is a political system in which the individual is subordinate to the state.

It would suffice to say that is is an extremist philosophy. I have found that anything and everything is spoiled by extremism.

Control freaks like me can be drawn to a philosophy that promises order and a homogeneous society. I have to remind myself often of the supremacy of natural law and moderation.
