What's going on in Europe is this: Communism is only a wish for elderly people in Eastern Europe, who regret "their good old times". The youth that has no jobs, little education and is ferociously anti-establishment, turns to the extreme-right movements. Those factions are xenophobic, brutal, clearly extreme-right signs. In France, for instance, there are communists at the government. If you want to fight against the government, you need to espouse ideas of those who are NOT at the government. The extreme right movements are in this case. There is the Austrian exception, but after Haider's declarations, he lost complete credibility and polls show in Austria how unpopular he has become.
