The protesters? They are all people who believe that capitalism is evil, and that if an all-powerful central entity (fashioned on their own particular fantasy) controlled everything, life would be beautiful. Trying to put Nazis and Communists on opposite ends of an imaginary spectrum, just because they fought each other in a war like two gangs of thugs fighting over turf, is a feeble attempt by the left to try to distance themselves from the smoking ovens. Never mind the gulags and the killing fields.
I have looked long and hard at these political questions over many years, and have come to agree with this conclusion:
Either one believes in individual rights, and the political systems that nurture them, or one believes in the citizen as the servant of the state, and the political systems that force that situation.
There is no "middle ground," no "mixed economy," no "Third Way" that can work, any more than you can create a healthy infant formula by trying to find the "right" mixture of milk and cyanide.
Examine the actual philosphies of the people calling for the fall of capitalism--at least those with the intellect to actually have a philosophy--and it becomes obvious where they stand. All of the "left-right" nonsense and other labeling tricks--and these tricks are legion--are simply the con men trying to slide the shells around on the table too fast for you to see what's happening.
