Not at all so. The IMF loans under "discussion" are loans to the poorest countries not to the rich. The protestors want those loans "forgiven", i.e. they want ME to pay off the loans. How about if Bono and the rest of the hypocritical rock music crowd put their money where their mouth is and give away everything to their cause and live like a wage earner struggling to save enough money to support a family and retire without a pension?
Why does uber-rich Bono want to take my wages by force for his cause?
