Jenin..

We've had thirty years or so of "terrorism" over here.

We've had kids blown to pieces on our streets.......we've had war comemmoration congregations ( think you call them veterans day over there) bombed with a dozen or more dead. Bombs in market places that kill people by the dozen, been there done that, lived through it.

The IRA.

We knew a lot of them were coming from over the border......we knew the town in Ireland they came from.

If we had taken our tanks and our weaponry over the border,,,, ...leveled the heart of it with bulldozers tanks and gunships. ( Knowing meanwhile that whatever we may be faceing it'll amount to small arms and some hastily home cooked explosive only)..........( And not just that town.... every town along the border... just as the Israelis have)........I

IF we had targeted Red Cross Ambulances.........

IF we had shot at journalists who tried to get close enough top see what was going on........

IF we had blocked any attempt at investigation by an independant agency during or after the event... an investigation which included among it's personnel senior and experienced US army officers.

IF we had (in effect) humiliated the president of the United States by sticking two fingers up when he intervened publicly and repeatedly telling us he expected us to withdraw immediately.

IF we had done all that useing American Tax-payers money.

And IF we came out saying only 56 people were killed.

Would the American press have printed supportive articles on our behalf?
