Dammit Tom............!
I was just off to bed... lost enough sleep watching this board these last few days........muy performance at work has dipped noticeably as a result...........SAID I didn't want to hear a lawyers arguement............. and you come up with something that makes me stop and think dammit!:).
OK... I'm a little too tired.. and too drunk ( Bottle and half of Cabernet Sauvignon, ....Cailfornian actually ......... you guys do do some things real well over there :) too come up with a coherent ... or for that matter.... plausible reply.
What stumped me was the UN reference
You see, I believe in it, I bel?ive it is the best hope we have to settle disputes and see that "justice" ( A woolly, liberal concept, I know) plays, at least , some small part in the relationships between nations, big and small.
And I always understood that the American, conservative, right saw it as a self important, interfering, US-subsidized body run by foriegn powers who were useing to stop America introducing "democracy" around the world.
And yet here you are qouting the UN as the authority that backs up your views....
Werll...that being the case... perhaps you'd like to list how many UN resolutions Israel is violation of right now?.... If you can't... well I'm sure I can provide a link to it tomorrow.:)
