FrankC: As with all things related to this situation some will disagree with this version of history but I have never heard anyone, Arab or Jew, claim that there has ever been a sovereign state of Palestine or deny that for some reason the Arab natives of that region are considered undesirable (god only knows why) by other Arabs.
See my questions above concerning Christian Arabs... I think you may find part of your answer on why the rest of the Arab world views the Palestinian Arabs as "undesierable".
I'm looking for the sorce on this and can't find it. I read it somewhere...Maybe someone else will have an idea. To paraphrase the missing source: The Muslim Palestinians are doing to the Christian Palestinians exactly what they accuse the Isrealies of doing to them. I.e. moving in hords of people to ethnicly "clense" the area.
