Judging from some of the posts here, the opposition is perfectly prepared to declare that any evidence Bush presents is false or manufactured. Bush could show all the "pictures with circles and arrows and paragraphs on the back of each one" and France, Germany, the U.N., and other opponents will somehow discredit them, to their own satisfaction if not to the satisfaction of any reasonable person.
Why wreck our intelligence sources to no profit?
Either you guys are right, and Bush has nothing, and has stupid reasons to go to war, and in his bumbling, incompetent way has managed to convince people of the caliber of Rumsfeld, Rice, Powell, Blair, 15 out of 19 NATO members, the U.S. military, and other high-level officials that these stupid reasons are valid...
Or I'm right and Bush has a solid, clear reason for attacking Iraq. If he does, why does that reason become any more valid if he advertises it to the world? Why does the reason become any less valid if it's a secret? Is this a popularity contest?
One or the other of these outcomes will be clear enough in time, although I'm sure if there is a good reason the opposition will not be impressed. If after the war, a five hundred acre underground nuclear weapons facility is uncovered, the Left will have some explanation for it, however looney, and their usual parrots will buy it immediately.
