It's true the power of the press makes the assumption of innocence very difficult.
It went so far as to change the vocabulary (in France, not quite in Belgium): the "inculpation" or indictment became "mise en examen" or "putting under exam" or something like that.
Inculpation sounds too close to "coupable" or culprit.
Unfortunately, the nex wording didn't change the spirit of the word.

It's important to come up with the best arguments!
