The holes in the ozone layer are NOT created by CFCs or ANYTHING manmade.

See the various sizes of the Antarctic holes! Look particularly at 1980 and 1988 - nearly identical despite eight years of time - you can see that there is no evidence man made pollution plays any significant role at all.

The poles get twenty to fifty times as much magnetic field "current" as the other parts of the globe. This current is composed of charged particles. It is these charged particles which break down the ozone - like warm water melting ice.

The magnetic field of the earth is not constant it varies largely on the input of solar radiation which is trapped and carried by our magnetic field. The magnetic bands are charged by solar radiation and subsequntly these charged particles are also strengthened and make it possible to break ozone down.

Look at this image from November 2001. We see the hole in the north is always much smaller than the south. This is because the particles from the norther field are POSITIVELY charged flowing OUTWARD, while the ones in the SOUTH are streaming INWARD and are NEGATIVELY charged.

More proof: the ozone hole is Off center - in accordance with our TRUE MAGNETIC POLEs.

Negatively charged particles act to break down ozone. Ozone is O3 - three oxygen molecules bonded together and is highly unstable. The flow of negative particles tears it apart like hot water through tissue paper.

Ozone was created in large quantities by sunlight mixing with auto exhaust. After the catalytic converters came - our ozone layer was depleted. In many ways pollution controls have depleted our ozone layer. No one wants to go back to the days of smog and pollution but the upside is that such "smog" pollution protects the residents from incoming solar radiation.

Ironically, the folks who study this stuff just can't figure it out. They raised the red flag on pollution - the very thing that keeps the ozone layer thicker! Unbelievable stupidity? Perhaps. Hysteria is always bad when mixed with science.

The positively charged particles create ozone easier (north) the negative charged particles (south) break O3 down into O2 + O.

Sure their are regional breakdowns in ozone due to chemical reactions - but the large scale stuff at the poles is purely magnetic fields in action. If the sun increase its output even marginally - we will have larger polar ozone holes.

You now know more than 99.9% of earth's atmospheric scientists (of this primitive time period anyways).
