The replacement refrigerants will need to be replaced yet again with freon if the climate does get warmer - which it promises to do. Anyone who has experienced the difference and suffered those fool replacements when its 117 degrees outside will realize the folly of banning freon. Shove those congressmen into some of their legislated plasticmobiles with inferior refrigerant and let them sweat a bit as the refrigerant struggles to absorb and discard the heat. Then they will see why white Suburbans with dual A/Cs are the car of choice.
People should be forced to live with their legislation.
When US summers heat up to 108 around the US and Europes summers average 100+ the Euros and greens will be singing a different tune about refrigerants and fast!
France learned a big lesson this summer - senseless tragedy almost wholesale murder of 15,000 people thanks to the crazed environmentalists.
