We get the message.

You feel guilty about the loss of 10,000 lives in Iraq do to your nation's corrupt leadership. You believe the war was sold solely on the threat of WMD. You don't believe Saddam was a threat. You don't give a good g-dd-mn about the Iraqi mass graves or the thousands of children executed by Saddam because we don't go after equally bad dudes with death camps and mass executions elsewhere in the world. This makes you believe that the right is just a bunch of wagon-circling hypocrites who rally around the GOP to the end. You supported Bush in Afghanistan but don't support the Iraq war because you believe we were now killing innocents.

Got it.

Personally you may believe all this. However, the political left has a total loser-issue here. The public will never be sorry Saddam is gone. You will never find enough folks to sympathise with the loss of the punks who work for a crime boss and you will not find many shedding tears for the deaths of those who worked in Saddam's Republican guard, the regular army or any of the Baathist loyalists. Most folks don't regret the war at all. It went amazingly quick. The death toll was the lowest in history for the foreign takeover of a nation and the Iraqi people have new found freedom. The leftist media can't get it into their heads that this issue just drives more people closer to Bush and the GOP. Joe Q. Public now realizes the left has their head up their tush when it comes to the way real people think and feel. Schwarzenegger's election in the midst of all this negative PR Iraq BS is proof of it - and this in the liberal bastion of CA! The left is losing its hold on "average folks" and only the fringe folks (elitists, fanatic antiBushers, socialists and stalinists) still undyingly support the democratic party.

Don and you could go out on an "Iraq: The Wrong War" speaking tour and when it was over you would undoubtedly have helped spur many new GOP voter registrations and party donations!

Ah, but I know...you, like Buster, are heavily "principled*"
