Asteroids are where it's at.
Metals (precious and otherwise) up the wazoo, a lot of solar energy to spare, you can move them around with mass-drivers, and no big delta-V's required to escape their surfaces.
It goes without saying that equipment designed to let people work for long periods on the Moon will also work on asteroids.
