Incredible how some form of accountability in government officials upsets Republicans so much. Like I said corruption is still not part of any conservative philosophy. Actually it's quite funny to read your military blog, trying to make out Bush's service was braver than Kerry's.
I suppose Bush drinking all that beer put his liver in harm's way though. So the whole phoney story is a little more clear. Bush used his political connections and blew off virtually any kind of service. It was always obvious, he only got into trouble when he started lying about what he really did.
The right must be breathing a sigh of relief (though it's not over yet). The real subtext to this whole argument was pretty obvious. What you were really afraid of is that he had done something really bad and was hiding it, and that's the only reason you didn't want this to be uncovered.
It's always easy to decipher what Bush supporters say, just assume it is based on hypocrisy.
