the truth is I have never been much of a Zionist, since it seems nationalism really is a scourge. However, since Israel does now exist, I believe in its right to exist, and especially in the safety of its citizens

Btw (as i've said before) Israel targets terrorists, not civilians ..

I'm not saying you're 'a bad person' (actually you seem to care a lot about the world) but just that the logic of your 'party line' in this case , does fester vicious hatred in people. (eg. 'America had it coming'). Recall otoh the *genuine* revolutionary movements in history, which often faced very powerful states and armies.

In any case it's almost 5am, and feel we're just going around in circles again. Haven't merry-go-rounds been condemned as safety hazards? :-}
