"Regardless of who is elected, Islamic radicals will continue to hate us and kill us every chance they get."
You seem to be very sure that "Islamic radicals" will "hate" and "kill", and you may be right, but my thoughts go to the question as to WHY "will" they do that.
In other words, do they consider the Americans as the "enemy" rather than "people" and if they consider the Americans as the "enemy" then why is that so.
In my opinion "hate" can not be generated without a "reason", whether that "reason" is imaginary or real does not seem to matter.
Are the ""Islamic radicals" (who are people) "afraid" of the American people, and if so, then why?
"The longer we keep doing things the same way the longer that will last. I hate to think that we will have to give up another x number of casualties on our ground to learn that there is no peaceful solution for what wrong with the world."
I hate to think that you could succumb to the "fear" and "hate" that the "Islamic radicals" seem to be under.
Is there a peaceful solution, I do not know, but in my opinion "understanding" both sides of the issue and communicating with each other would go a long way into solving the problems.
"Of course this is just my opinion. I only stand and watch and I could be wrong."
That is my sentiment also
