If it turns out the OT is literally true, then God must spend his days wiping tears of laughter from his cheeks. What a joke on us moderns!
I don't think agnosticism affects my political beliefs, per se. But it is an expression of open-mindedness, I hope. I have beliefs that are all over the map. As an example, though I am liberal on a lot of issues, I'm sure that my beliefs on abortion are considerably to the right of a number of conservatives, around here.
Beyond agnosticism/open-mindedness, I have strong beliefs on morality, and believe that it is both right and wise to think of others' wellbeing. All of these things mold my politics.
