Nope.

Haven't been since about 1980 or thereabouts.

I have known fervently religious people who have opposed forcing religion on others. They have a firmer grip on faith, or maybe faith has a firmer grip on them, than those who think that shoving religion -- specifically the majority religion -- on others is appropriate and helpful.

Evangelizing members of minority faiths are just as wrong to push, but they haven't the power to force, merely to annoy.

Religion is a vehicle of social conformity. Spiritual awareness can and does exist outside of it. Sometimes -- often-- religion strangles spiritual awareness in its zeal to enforce dogma. Sometimes it strangles people, too.

If I could disprove the existence of God, there would be somebody on the phone in an hour to contradict me. It's unknowable. The evidence as presented is not in God's favor, but we have limited ability to assess evidence, because we're very smart, for primates, but not as smart as all that.

Ooookk.
