Well, 'we' do 'allow' commusitst to rally and if needed they would be protected but I don't think anyone takes them seriously anymore ('cept maybe Tom ;)

The term "Hatecrime" is still fairly new in the vernacular. In a neighboring city, two white teenagers were sentenced for burning a cross on the lawn of the local [black] pastor. Cross burning is a criminal act not protected by the first Amendment.

People in our country are free to preach hate but they will still go to jail if the act on it. Thankfully, it doesn't happen too often.
