"The future possibility of blond, blue eyed worlds colonized to maintain their own idea of racial purity and cultural superiority may be a possible reality but it would not bode well in the long term. Spreading racial and cultural conflict throughout the universe could eventually lead to cosmic problems. If that is your vision, I disagree."
I'm not talking about cultural superiority, just cultural distinctiveness. And space is a very big place. If a planet is settled by a group of people, there should be no conflict. Unless someone wants to muscle their way in to make it easier on themselves by taking what's already been built by others. In which case it becomes a matter of self defense, and those there first have the right to boot the freeloaders out. But why would such a thing happen in a galaxy as large as ours? Which is why I hope FTL travel isn't possible, conflict among the stars won't be possible if all we can do is .5c or less.
