Andrew, yes democracy is something invented long before america- I dont need an education on democracy's history- I know it better than you...the fact is it wasnt THE WAY TO GO untill the US adopted it and promulgated it...It is a FACT

Doug, I am sorry that you took my post as antagonistic, but ANYONE that denies that the US has defined the past century is an idiot... We can accept that and move on or we can play games and dance around that fact... If you are not new here then you know I am as about far from US RA RA RA nuts as they come- I am comfortable pointing out our numerous sins, with that I ALSO can point out our virtues...

any goddamn idiot can play devout patriot, I look at what our country does and I actually think about if we are doing right or wrong...

If you think I am some 'America right or wrong' moron then you really are a newbie here-

I will cut you some slack, because, while you are apparently easily offended, you do seem like a rational person... I apoligize for offending you, or striking a nerve

I think it was clear that I did not disrespect other countries, the US contributes more because of its wealth- I dont disagree.... but it doesnt change the fact that we contribute more

Before you go ballistic, Doug, keep in mind that we will likely be on the same side in the vast majority of future debates...

I REALLY dont want this to get personal, I just said what I said... and I stand by it... I REALLY did not want to offend

I am kinda mellow cause I have had my first exposure to office politics, and it made me sick - I am tired of stupid games... Doug, If you read us carefully you will understand my point of view, dont start a crusade against me based on one post, you will be creating a war based on ignorance
