R.L., I don't doubt your education -just the uses you put it to; remember, think twice, speak once.

Most world democracies do not come via the US, think for for example of Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India- the World's largest democracy,and Canada. The irony is obvious, an authoritarian 19th century Imperial regime, responsible for much misery and injustice,created, pretty much by the law of unintended consequences, a legacy of Democracy across the world.
