Ptolemy's geocentric error was accepted by all rational scientists for moe than 1500 years.

Wegener was disparaged to his dying day by all rational scientists.

Nevertheless, Ptolemy and all those who agreed with him were grossly wrong and Wegener was essentially right.

Levin's assertions may yet be confirmed. We are still very far from fullying understanding the results of the Viking LR experiments.

I just hope we don't have to wait many centuries or even decades!
