Maybe next time she can bury a dead lizard and some plants for a week and see if she gets oil and coal.
The "watch parts" people are completely unclear on how molecules work. If I filled a huge steel pan with ten thousand wooden nickels and shook it, the odds against every last nickel being heads-up after I was done shaking would be astronomical. However, if I glued a magnet to the tail side of each nickel and did the same experiment, what then?
Atoms go together in specific orderly ways when you smack them together at random. In fact, in many cases the hard part is keeping them from sticking together in patterns. This is true up to very complex molecules. As long as energy is available, you can get order from non-order.
I looked over that website with my jaw hanging open. I am still not completely convinced that it is a parody, but there's just too much there for that.
Check out the triclavianism issue, which is the first time in my life I have ever heard that it WAS an issue. Check this out:
Some have criticized my stance on triclavianism as being counterproductive, arguing that making a point of doctrinal contention over not making a point of doctrinal contention over adiaphora is itself non-salvific. However, my critics are overlooking the dangers of triclavianistic doctrines: allowing adiaphora to creep into our credenda -- while possibly pushing the theologoumenic envelope and providing exciting new opportunities for supererogative works -- will most often serve to muddy the soteriological foundation of Faith, leading in general to ultramontane excesses and, in extreme cases, ebaptization (which is unacceptable pastoral malpractice, however rare it may be.) Doctrinal integrity, and hence salvific effectiveness, is best served by working to end triclavianism and similar erroneous, or simply adiaphoric, doctrines.
Man, I HATE it when adiaphora creep into my credenda, but I have a spray for that. Proof positive that leftist academics do not have a monopoly on spouting verbal fog.
Other new word of the week: Paedobaptism!
I've known Baptists, and I think most of them would be laughing their heads off at seeing some of this bizarre stuff.
