And I know what doesn't need to happen: the missile defense pork barrel.

The story was on ATC last night. During the coverage, Philip Coyle of the Center for Defense Information voiced what to me sounded like common sense: [paraphrasing] Commanders on the ground in South Korea wouldn't wait for the North to get to launch status.

You, of course, will dismiss him because he's a critic, regardless of his credentials.
