add to that the pile of 'crap rammed down your throat' that a Strategic Missile Defense capacity is currently technologically feasible, relevant and necessary in defending Amuerica from her known enemies.
And that Separation of Church and State as framed in the constitution does not really mean that Church and State should be separate, that blanket Tax Cuts are decisively proven to stimulate the economy, that leadership means pissing in the eye of your long-term allies, that beating down the dollar will solve our trade deficit problem, that Gay marriage and/or civil union is a threat to marriage, that we are right and everyone else is wrong, that Bush never made a mistake, that there would be roses thrown at our feet in Baghdad, that the reconstruction would be largely paid for by Oil Revenue from iraq, that No-Bid contracts were a good idea, that its okay to let energy company lobyists write energy policy for the next decade, that there is no scientific basis to global warming, that under 100,000 soldiers could keep the peace in Iraq, that once we caught Saddam it would all be over, that once we caught saddams kids it would all be over, that we shouldn't be concerned about catching Osama, that his whereabouts doesn't really concern Bush, that Osama is a bit player now, that the insurgents are all foreign terrorists, that posession of assult weapons is a perfectly reasonable interpretation of the right to bear arms, that God is on our side, old europe, new europe, that we can't hold anyone in a decision making executive role accountable for going to war on faulty evidence and not protecting us against 9/11 on good evidence, that when we are trillions of dollars in the hole we can cut the payroll tax revenue that funds Social Security and that somehow this 'saves' social security for this or the next generation, that pointing out ANY of these massive, manifest and obvious disconnects with reality means that the person doing the pointing is an anti-patriot, a saddam lover, a traitor or somehow being carried off in a delusional and blind hatred for Bush, that you can lead a debate in this country by deriding not just criticisn, but your critics- and then labeling realistic criticism as merew liabel and punditry, that we have 'Turned the corner'.
