"I think that in terms of Education it is similar to Security. Take away America miltary power and the world will devolve into chaos, take away American Education and the world would devolve into ignorance.
LOLOLOLolololol...ol...olol... And take away American humility, and ... oh... subtract zero and there's really no difference. How did the world ever survive without us?"
It didn't.
The current level of technology was non existance 200 years ago. The world is different now as opposed to before America came into existance. Returning this world to the world of 200 years ago, would fit my definition of chaos.
Take away technology and world populations would drop- meaning billions of people starving. That fits my definition of Chaos.
Keep the current level of technology and toss out democracy, and you will get nuclear war. That fits my definition of chaos.
Simply removing the America security presence in Asia and you have trouble. Simply tossing out American treaties obligations associated with NATO, and you have trouble.
Or are you laughing solely at our educational influence in the world?
I wouldn't underestimate that influence. That fact that we have ever increasing number of democracies in this world I would say is directly attributable to American soft power.
