I Don't Like Nuclear Fission Either

But am not violently opposed to it. It's not nearly as bad as radical environmentalists make out, but we really need to credibly deal with the waste issue before ramping it up. I understand new designs have greatly improved safety. I would prefer Solar power used to generate H2 by electrolysis, or fusion but neither may be as practical as nuclear fission near term (fusion sure isn't).
