Wild mischaracterization!
alcaray — (archived)

We said basically the same thing. Only when I said it you claim I am describing criminality.

Business is in the business of making money. Period. It seeks efficient ways to do so. It is not generally thought to be a charitable enterprise.

Yes, Tom, there do exist many fine products. But there are certainly limits. eg: if you start making flyswaters out of flawlessly balanced, ergonometrically designed, carbon composites and silk, you can probably produce a superior product. And you will probably go out of business.

Seeking a profit is not criminal. It is ok. There is nothing wrong with capitalism. There is nothing wrong with free enterprise. [Have I covered all the straws, or can you still put together a scarecrow out of what I left you?]
