TOM: "Other than that, I can't believe the market process and what I am saying is that hard to grasp."
MY REPLY: But for some reason you fail to grasp it. The "market process" is not self-regulating. The "market process" relies upon effective government regulation in order to succeed without loss of consumer confidence and collapse. Your drive for philosophical purity is based upon a dream world that does not exist. No where and at no time has your untainted laissez faire approach ever succeeded. Just as Marxism is a purist's delusional "dream," so too is unfettered capitalism a nightmare that can't exist in the real world.
As for articles about the school closing, you'll have to search the Olympian's archives. The story was well reported at the time (summer of 2000). Good luck.
